ON-DEVICE NEURAL ENGINE · LIVE ON THE APP STORE

Hear. Isolate. Understand.

In a crowded room, isolait finds the one voice you came for — and quiets everything else. Real-time. On-device. It never leaves your phone.

CORE ENGINE

Four ways isolait separates signal from noise

Every feature runs locally on Apple's Neural Engine — there's no server in the loop, no upload, and no delay.

Voice Lock

Tap the mic to sample any voice nearby. Isolait captures a unique acoustic fingerprint in seconds, then locks onto that speaker — filtering out background noise and every other conversation in the room.

Compass Direction

Point your phone at the person you want to hear. Isolait blends your device's heading with real-time audio processing to bias the mic toward your target, even in multi-speaker environments.

Real-Time Spectrum Analysis

Watch your audio environment come alive with a dual-channel spectrum analyzer — see exactly what's coming in, and exactly what isolait is sending back out.

Built for Privacy

Isolait runs entirely on-device using Apple's Neural Engine. No audio is ever uploaded, stored, or shared — what you hear stays with you, full stop.

PRIVACY BY ARCHITECTURE

Nothing to leak, because nothing leaves

Most "AI" voice tools mean a round trip to a server. Isolait's neural pipeline runs entirely on your iPhone's Neural Engine — your audio is processed and discarded locally, every time.

WHERE IT'S GOING

From voice isolation to an audio intelligence platform

isolait is built on one core engine: an on-device pipeline that captures a voice fingerprint and isolates it from everything else, in real time, without a server in the loop. Every release adds capability on top of that same foundation — nothing gets rebuilt from scratch.

v1.0
● Live now

The isolation engine, shipped

The first release proved the full pipeline end-to-end on a real iPhone, in real noise — rule-based filtering plus a real neural voice fingerprint, not a prototype.

  • DSP spectral gating — rule-based FFT processing that separates voice-range signal from ambient noise frame by frame.
  • Bandpass voice filter — an IIR biquad filter tuned to the human voice range, cutting out rumble and hiss before isolation even starts.
  • Compass Direction mode — CoreLocation heading fused with the audio pipeline to bias the mic toward whoever you're physically facing.
  • Voice Lock (CoreML speaker embedding) — a custom on-device neural network captures a voice fingerprint in seconds and locks onto that exact speaker, even as background noise and other voices change.

From isolating one voice to understanding the room

The same Voice Lock pipeline that isolates a single speaker also knows who's talking and when — v2.0 puts that knowledge to work in two directions: helping you hear better, and helping you remember what was said.

Hearing & accessibility
  • Hearing-clarity mode — wear headphones while Voice Lock is active and the locked speaker's voice plays back to you in real time, boosted above the noise around it. Marketed for clarity in loud environments, not as a medical hearing aid.
  • Frequency-specific boosting — optional tuning aimed at common high-frequency hearing-loss profiles, layered on top of the standard isolation gain.
Meetings & notes
  • Real-time transcription — on-device speech recognition turns isolated audio into text as the conversation happens.
  • Multi-speaker meeting notes — diarization plus a persistent speaker library means isolait recognizes returning speakers across sessions, with no re-enrollment required. That's the differentiator versus Otter, Fireflies, and Granola.
  • Action items & exportable transcript — meeting notes separate what was said from what needs to happen next, exportable as a labeled transcript.
  • Compass-assisted diarization — for in-person meetings, device heading helps attribute speech to the right person around a table.
Engine depth
  • Environment classification & voice activity detection — isolait recognizes what kind of space you're in and adapts isolation strength automatically.
  • Emotion & tone detection — audio classification layered on top of transcription, for context beyond the words themselves.
  • Acoustic fingerprinting — room impulse response modeling improves isolation quality in spaces isolait has heard before.

On the horizon

The Dimalta AI Audio SDK

Long-term, isolait is the proof of concept for a broader idea: that isolating a single clean voice before any downstream AI model touches it makes everything built on top of that voice — translation, transcription, conversation — meaningfully more accurate.

  • Real-time translation — feeding a translation model one isolated voice instead of a noisy room is a different accuracy class entirely, not a marginal improvement.
  • Personal voice models — on-device models that adapt to an individual speaker's voice over time, building on the federated speaker-embedding work from v1.1.
  • Conversational intelligence — an on-device LLM layer that reasons over isolated, transcribed conversation, not just transcribes it.
  • Dimalta AI Audio SDK — the same on-device engine, licensed as B2B infrastructure for any product — conferencing tools, hearing devices, automotive — that needs to hear one voice clearly.

Personal & social intelligence

Once isolait knows who it's listening to, the same engine can support a person's everyday relationships and accessibility needs — not just a single conversation at a time.

Hearing & accessibility
  • Tinnitus-aware masking mode — detects steady background tone profiles and applies targeted suppression tuned for tinnitus sufferers, distinct from general hearing-clarity boosting.
  • Classroom & lecture mode — optimized one-to-many isolation that favors a single speaker at the front of a room while suppressing side conversations, for students with auditory processing differences.
Relationships & memory
  • Family & group mode — lock onto multiple known voices at once (e.g. a spouse and a child) instead of a single target, building on the persistent speaker library.
  • Conversation replay — a short rolling buffer of isolated audio you can replay if you missed something, auto-discarded after a fixed window, never leaving the device.
  • Personal voice journal — on-device-only analytics derived from the speaker library — who you talk to most, how long, sentiment over time — with no raw audio retained or transmitted.

isolait everywhere

The core engine doesn't have to live only on a phone screen — the same Voice Lock pipeline can travel to new surfaces, hardware, and audiences.

New surfaces
  • watchOS companion — trigger Voice Lock from the wrist without pulling out the phone.
  • CarPlay integration — isolate a passenger's voice over road and engine noise, extending compass-directed isolation into the automotive context already envisioned for the SDK.
  • AR/glasses caption overlay — route the existing transcription engine to a heads-up display instead of a phone screen, turning isolait into a live-captioning wearable.
New audiences
  • Podcast & creator mode — real-time multi-mic isolation for mobile interview recording, positioned as an alternative to dedicated lav mics and post-processing.
  • Android port — bringing the core engine to a much larger market once on-device performance is fully validated on iOS.

Stop straining to hear. Start isolating.
