Isolait — Sensory Comfort shapes overwhelming sound in real time for autistic people, people with misophonia, hyperacusis or tinnitus, and anyone with everyday sound sensitivity — plus the parents, teachers and caregivers who support them. Instead of blocking everything, it dials down what's harsh and lets the rest of the world through — now available in 35 languages.
Download on the App Store Free · iPhone & iPad · Sensory Comfort Pro optionalOur biggest update yet: live captions, full iPad support, a free Calm tab and a free trial.
Turn on Captions in the Calm tab and the voice coming through Live Dampening appears as text on screen, in your phone's language where Apple's speech recognition supports it. Captions are made on your device, so no audio or text leaves your phone. The first time, the app asks permission and iOS may need a moment to download the language.
Sensory Comfort now fills the iPad screen in portrait and landscape, with all the same features as on iPhone. It's one app, so one purchase covers both.
Live Dampening and Soundscapes are free to use, with no time limit. Pro adds caregiver presets and Building Comfort.
Try Pro free for 14 days. Pro is cheaper too; the App Store shows your exact price.

Building ComfortTurns down harsh or overwhelming sounds in real time while you wear headphones — noise-cancelling ones work best.
Layered, soothing comfort sounds that help mask what's bothering you. Plays on headphones or the iPhone speaker.
One-tap setups for the classroom, the grocery store, car rides and more, so a parent or teacher can prepare it in advance.
Gradually eases dampening down over sessions, at a pace you control, instead of blocking sound forever.
See the words of the voice coming through Live Dampening as captions, in your phone's language. Everything stays on-device.
Sensory Comfort speaks your language — English, Spanish (Spain & Mexico), Portuguese (Brazil & Portugal), French, Italian, Catalan, German, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian, Croatian, Hungarian, Romanian, Greek, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian and Malay.
Kids and adults who find everyday sound overwhelming — busy classrooms, cafeterias, stores, family gatherings — including autistic people, and people with misophonia, hyperacusis, ADHD or tinnitus. And the caregivers who want a calm, simple control they can set up ahead of time.
